Drawing Erwin, to me always feels so nostalgic, like a memory of a man framing my thoughts of a time long ago. It feels so artistic, so aesthetic to create this character. I always listen to this soundtrack when I draw him, and I gave a similar title to this work. I also made a symbolic pose, as he was in his last moments in Shiganshina, where he saw his Father in the classroom and he raised his hand.

Thinking deeply about Erwin, there is a beauty and complexity in this man, a mind that the entire world had once rested in.
A restless mind and wounded soul. How much pain and grief did that man carry inside him..
